Job Title:             Accountant (Practice)

Based:                  Braintree, Essex (Easy, free parking!)

Salary:                   £35-40,000

Hours:                   Full-time or almost full-time such as 3-4 days will be considered for pro-rated salary

We’re privileged to have been retained to help a very well-established accountancy firm just outside Braintree to add a new accountant to the organisation. This is a small team and so it’s vital you have the personality, drive as well as the skills to fit.

Your primary role will be to undertake and support all the compliance and statutory financial accounting work needed for their existing clients. You’d be helping other entrepreneurial companies based across Braintree, Chelmsford, Dunmow, Colchester, and London. The company’s founder and

You will have the following personality, skills, and experience:

  • Full or Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Practice accountancy experience – this is a must have
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to advise and help non-financially minded senior managers and business owners to understand what the data tells you
  • Desire to join a small team
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Focuses on attention to detail
  • Good time management and organisational skills
