International Business Development Manager (Skincare)

Based: Hertfordshire with international travel

You’d be joining an entrepreneurial, multi-award-winning, organic, vegan skincare company who have experienced tremendous success and growth in the past 24 months.

Their UK business development is going from strength to strength and now they’d like to add to their business development team with someone who can add international experience.

We’d love your passion for all things skincare and ability to identify and develop new markets to add to the team. We also need your international experience to add to their current successes in the German, Italian and French markets. If you are fluent in one or more European language, that is ideal and will certainly add value to your role.

You would be opening doors, developing and nurturing existing relationships and generating increased sales on an international basis.

Primarily you’ll be responsible for:

  • Studying and researching potential markets
  • Pitching to decision-makers and developing new accounts
  • Developing new and existing distributor channels
  • Planning and successfully executing country-specific sales campaigns, in line with local and current consumer trends
  • Managing the sale of products in other countries
  • Identifying new export markets

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following experience and personality:

  • Proven track record of Business Development / Sales in an international environment.
  • Existing retailer customer contacts within global personal care, skincare and beauty channels – we are focusing on Europe initially but if you have US, Asia or Middle Eastern contacts and relationships, we’d still love to hear from you as these are markets which will be targeted next
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and excel within a small, growing team.
  • The desire to be a key team member within an entrepreneurial, fast-growing skincare company.
  • Strong commercial background with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Able to make informed decisions based on analysis and available data.
  • A can-do and positive personality.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language.

Your head office would be in Hertfordshire but we do expect this role to involve plenty of travel. Ideally, you’ll live within a 90 mins commute of Hertfordshire and love regular international travel.

Salary: £32-37k plus bonus (depends on your experience) plus excellent product allowance
