Here’s how it works:

3 Monthly Payment Terms
Invoice 1 upon engagement of £1000 (+VAT)
Invoice 2: (20% of starting salary – £1000 engagement fee) divided by 2 + £70 admin fee
Invoice 3: the remainder of the fee + £70 admin fee

Example:
Starting salary £30,000
Fee = 20%
Invoice 1: £1000 (+VAT)
Invoice 2: ((20% of starting salary of £30k = £6000) – £1000 engagement fee) divided by 2 months + £70 admin fee = £2500 + £70 (+VAT)
Invoice 3: £2500 + £70 (+VAT)
Total fee: £6000 plus £140 admin fee (+VAT)

6 Monthly Payment Terms
Invoice 1 upon engagement of £1000 (+VAT)
Invoice 2: (20% of starting salary £30k = £6000) – £1000 engagement fee) divided by 5 months + £70 admin fee
Invoice 3: £1000 + £70 (+VAT)
Invoice 4: £1000 + £70 (+VAT)
Invoice 5: £1000 + £70 (+VAT)
Invoice 6: £1000 + £70 (+VAT)
Total fee: £6000 plus £350 admin fee (+VAT)

There is a non-refundable engagement fee of £1000 plus VAT per vacancy.

This is here for many reasons and helps both you and us.

It shows us you’re serious about your hiring, that you are committed to hiring well, and to us partnering together.

There are lots of early-stage set-up costs such as over £300+tax per advert. You can appreciate we cannot advertise every job vacancy ‘just in case’ a business owner decides to hire.

The engagement fee also acts as a reservation in our team’s diary. Unlike traditional recruiters, we work on a ‘Jerry Maguire’ model. This means we only work with a few business owners at a time.

You don’t want our team, your people partners, to lose focus because they’re trying to help you and lots of others at the same time.

If the engagement fee puts you off, we would recommend you consider a more traditional contingency service where you won’t have to part with any money, until and if the recruiter is able to help. Bear in mind, you will unlikely be able to take advantage of a similar 12-Month Peace of Mind Guarantee in this instance.
